Caution When Stretching
I often write and talk about squeezing in extra training wherever possible. You may have seen my latest clip on youtube martial arts training tips – while washing up This morning I was doing exactly the same except I was wearing a dressing gown instead. I hadn’t noticed Leo my 15 month old son wander underneath my dressing gown while my leg was stretched out along the worktop. I was immediately aware of him when he decided to practice for the church bell ringing group by grabbing what was in easy reach for him. My words of caution –
Am I Paraonid?
Am I paranoid? Over the weekend I had an interesting discussion with some friends. We were talking about self defence, which then lead onto an area that had a mixed reaction from them.. Lindsey (my wife) & I run through procedures in case of certain situations. Someone breaks into our home, we’re approached by a couple of people that make us feel uneasy, road rage etc. Their opinion was a mixture of agreement through to disbelief. Especially when I mentioned things such as a “safe room” in the house, giving me space to hit and move & ramming another car.
SAS Secret
The SAS are renowned throughout the world as probably the most elite soldiers in the world (being from the UK of course I’d say they are the best). At two the Kung Fu Schools, Crawley & Croydon we had the benefit of recieving information and experience from a man who was the longest serving operational soldier of the SAS… Ken Connor. Ken was at the Kung Fu Schools as part of Total Care Security along with Chris Wheeler & Roy, one of the leading security companies in the UK. The aim of the days workshop was to go through material
